The two online education modules are aimed at educating health professionals about the caring@home resources and how they can be used to teach carers to help manage breakthrough symptoms safely using subcutaneous medicines. See Module 1, 2A and 2B below.

Module 1 - Introducing the caring@home resources and their benefits
Aim: The aim of this module is to familiarise you with the caring@home resources that can be used to teach carers/families to help manage care for someone at home including to safely use subcutaneous medicines to manage breakthrough symptoms.
Time to complete: 15 minutes
Module 2A - Teaching carers/families to help manage breakthrough symptoms using subcutaneous medicines
Aim: To enable nurses to develop knowledge to use the caring@home resources during training session(s) with carers/families to teach them to help manage breakthrough symptoms at home using subcutaneous medicines.
Time to complete: 20 minutes
Module 2B - Teaching carers/families to help manage breakthrough symptoms using subcutaneous medicines
Aim: To enable nurses to develop the knowledge to use the caring@home resources during training session(s) with carers/families to teach them to help manage breakthrough symptoms at home using subcutaneous medicines.
Time to complete: 20 minutes
For Aboriginal Health Workers
The online education module for Aboriginal Health Workers (AHWs) will familiarise AHWs with the caring@home resources and how they can be used to support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families and carers to manage symptoms at home, or on Country.
